COVID-19 Protocol

October 11, 2021

We are very excited to reopen our doors at our permanent studio and to welcome our clients there. We want your visit to be as comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyable as ever, and toward that end we're taking every precaution to make your visit safe. We monitor every guideline from the CDC and state and metro governments to make sure we stay in compliance. In addition we've consulted with a local public health physician trained at the CDC who has many years of experience in communicable disease control and pandemic planning and response. On her advice we'll observe the following specific protocol to keep us all safe and comtortable:

First of all, we will continue our practice of scheduling only one client at a time. We've always allowed a full hour between our business clients and two hours between families. That practice will be even more important over the next few months to insure that we're not overlapping visits.

Unlike in the past, we are going to strive to maintain 6 feet of clearance between ourselves and our clients at all times during a visit.

For your protection we'll wear face masks during each visit. We will NOT require that you wear a face mask, but for the next few months we'll provide a free face mask photo, if you want one, with every purchased sitting. (BYOFM)

We've set up facilities to allow us to wash our hands before and after each appointment. And, of course, we'll have a restroom for our clients and readily available hand sanitizers.

We'll be disinfecting all fixtures daily and any that may have been touched by a client immediately following each visit (door handles, restroom facilities, etc).

Any object handled by a client (toys, props, brushes, lint rollers) we'll either disinfect with an EPA-registered disinfectant appropriate for the material or, if not practical (such as for children’s toys) we will not allow those to be touched or used for at least 7 days, in accordance with CDC’s published guidelines for disinfection or cleaning.

And, as always, rescheduling a photo session will be easy and free. We will continue to encourage you to postpone a sitting if you're not feeling well (or for any other reason). Even no-shows are acceptable.

We expect that following these procedures will allow us all to feel safe and at ease. Then we can get down to the thing we do best: have a good time and get a great photo!
